How I got here
Pilates isn't just a workout to me, it's my absolute passion. I love the focus, the breathwork, the undeniable strength and length it builds from the inside out. For me, if I miss a week, I feel the difference immediately !
I started my journey working in local gyms which naturally moved onto 1 on 1s, focusing primarily on posture assessments, injuries and dealing with a range of limitations like Osteoporosis. Zoom sessions followed and my path opened up to where I am now.
I see Pilates as intelligent movement, how to position yourself correctly, how to sit tall, how to breathe and how to engage the core. Pilates explains the 'why' behind every movement. This helps me not only in everyday life but also during my other activities like weight training, swimming and walking.
I am a people person, I love to connect, listen and help. This spills over into my passion for what I do. I see Pilates as an investment in yourself.

My Movement Philosophy
What I believe
I believe Pilates is maintenace for the body and mind. It can be low enough impact to do every day. Supplement this with a gentle daily walk and you will feel and see the difference within weeks.
5 of my favourite things!
- My daughter, and the wonderful memories we create every day.
- Exercise, not just Pilates, but walking, running, swimming, weight training and cycling outdoors!
- Being around people but equally loving my own solitude to recharge my batteries. I'm an introverted extrovert.
- Hygge, enjoying the simple things like candlelit nights, soft blankets and a glass of wine.
- Majorca - my soul home, where I love to visit as often as I can.
The six principles behind Pilates
My Pilates practice revolves around Joseph Pilates’ original principles.
01
Breath
Breath sets the pace. I cue it throughout, so your movement and your breathing find a rhythm together.
02
Concentration
Pilates asks for your attention, which can be a lovely break from everything else on your mind. We keep it light, but we stay present.
03
Control
Slow and deliberate beats fast and frantic. Every movement is chosen, so you get more from fewer, better repetitions.
04
Centering
Everything begins from the middle of the body. I'll keep bringing you back to your centre, then build outwards from there.
05
Precision
The details matter. I give clear, careful instructions so you know exactly where to place yourself and what to feel.
06
Flow
One movement leads smoothly into the next. I keep my classes varied and moving, so you stay in the rhythm rather than stopping and starting.
How I Teach
My teaching style is contemporary, calm with a little spicy energy thrown in.
Every class has options and levels built in, so you can find what works for your body. I vary my classes with different props or you can just use your own body strength.
I pour everything into every class, whether I'm in the room or on your screen, because I love it. And I want you to feel I'm on this with you.
