Meet your instructor, Alessandra
Sandi has been teaching Pilates for over ten years and holds Mat and Reformer Pilates qualifications with London Pilates Academy.
I teach popular in-person and private classes, as well as guiding the online Pilates with Alessandra community. My Pilates method has always been consistent, lots of good energy, calm clear guidance and a little pilates spicy sculpt along the way.
Every class includes options and adaptions, so you're never left behind or held back.

FAQs
Do I need any Pilates experience?
Not at all! The library covers beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, and every class has options so you can move at the level that feels right today.
Do I need any equipment for the classes?
Ideally you'll need a Pilates / Yoga mat, but if you’re travelling you can always substitute this with a beach towel. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! There is always the option to use equipment to enhance your workout, if you have any: Pilates balls, light weights, magic circles, resistance bands and ankle/wrist weights are great, and you will see by the video title what equipment is suggested. However you can always use your own body weight with no equipment at all!
How long are the classes?
You'll find everything from quick sessions to full classes, so there's something for every kind of day.
Can I use it if I'm busy or travelling?
That's exactly what it's for! Press play wherever you are, whenever you have the time and a little space to move.
What's the difference between the plans?
Nothing about what you get. Every plan includes full access to everything inside. The only difference is how often you pay and the price.
Do I have to join the live Zoom classes?
No. Join live when you can and enjoy the library whenever suits you.
I already pay for a gym membership. Is this worth it?
Pilates with Alessandra is designed to sit alongside whatever else you do. A quick stretch after a long day, consistent movement while travelling, or a class at home when getting out the door feels like too much.
I prefer in-person classes. Is this for me?
Totally understandable. Sandi teaches with the room in mind, with clear guidance, options and plenty of encouragement. And if you'd like something in person, you can enquire about in-person classes or private sessions below.
Is Pilates with Alessandra right for me?
If you'd like to move more and enjoy it, then yes! Classes are made for mixed abilities, with options throughout. As with any exercise, listen to your body and move at a pace that feels right for you.
Is it safe for pregnancy?
Pilates is safe during pregnancy if modified correctly for each stage. First-trimester movements focus on gentle core support. Second-trimester routines adjust for your expanding belly, and third-trimester workouts emphasise birth preparation. Always get medical clearance before starting.
Can I still practice Pilates if I’m injured?
Yes you can still practice pilates while injured, but it requires clearance from your doctor and careful modifications. Pilates is generally low impact and excellent for rehabilitation. Perhaps begin with a light stretch class or a beginner flow to see how you feel.
Is there a weekly schedule I can follow?
Yes! Each week I will send out a suggested schedule for that week – this is only a suggestion, so please feel free to do your own routine and listen to your body. The schedule will change each week, offering suggested classes that complement each other and create motivation.
How many sessions should I do a week?
I would suggest 2-3 sessions per week. This frequency is ideal for building core strength, improving flexibility and correcting posture. However, Pilates is low impact enough to incorporate this into your daily life. As with any exercise, consistency is key to really feel and see the results.
